Compiled Originally in French, Made English with Addition of very Useful Mapps. First English edition dated 1700, with later 19th Century half leather binding with marble boards. Light surface wear to the boards with slight loss to the leather. Marble end-papers with slight cracking to the internal hinges, binding however still tight. Three folding engraved maps with small closed tears and repairs to the verso. Pages slightly age-toned with the occasional spot of browning consistent with the age of the book.  Overall a good copy of this scarce title.
